The metal frame forms an open support surface and folding base. Silicone pads separate the laptop from the hard contact surfaces. Keep the pads clean and check that the rear support is fully seated; a secure support position is essential before placing the laptop.

 

Setup and Everyday Use

1. Place the unloaded stand on a level desk. Raise the platform and engage the rear support fully in the selected position.
2. Place the laptop centrally behind the front edge. Check stability, vent clearance and cable slack before typing or opening the display further.
3. Remove the laptop before changing the angle or folding the stand. For extended work with a raised screen, use a separate keyboard and mouse positioned comfortably on the desk.

 

Limitations

This is an inclined desktop support, so it does not provide the reach or height movement of a laptop arm. The 16.5 mm dimension describes the folded stand, not its working height. It has no integrated USB hub or powered fan, and an open platform does not guarantee a particular temperature reduction.
