Materials and Construction
The steel platform forms the main support, with plastic components and soft contact pads at the laptop contact points. The powder-coated finish covers the metal surface. Keep the padding intact and avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
Setup and Everyday Use
- Check both the tray and arm instructions. Attach the tray securely to the compatible VESA plate with the specified fittings before adding a laptop.
- Place the laptop against the front stops and adjust the side clips for secure contact. Keep vents, ports and cables clear; do not overtighten against the device casing.
- Support the assembly while adjusting the arm. Check retention and balance throughout the intended movement, then route cables with enough slack to avoid pulling the laptop.
Limitations
The tray cannot raise a laptop on its own. The completed system is limited by both the tray and the selected arm; the 4.5 kg laptop allowance does not increase arm capacity. Screen size does not guarantee clip fit, and the tray must not be inverted. Ventilation is passive and does not guarantee a particular cooling result.
